Christo

Wrapper of everything, drawing attention by hiding, there are some nice paradoxes in Christo Yavasheff's work. One trick pony ish though his drawings are remarkable.

Born June 13th, 1935,in Bulgaria Christo has since taken US citizenship. His environmental art is created with his wife Jeanne-Claude. He has wrapped many famous buildings and landscapes, including the Reichstag in Berlin and the Pont Neuf in Paris.

He makes drawings and photos of his work both before in the planninng stages and after when the work is complete.
